01. Purpose & Scope of Permitted Use

The software, APIs, server gateways, and diagnostic infrastructure operated by The Power Flasher are designed and licensed exclusively for legitimate, lawful, and ethical mobile device servicing. Permitted uses include:

  • Professional mobile workshop maintenance, firmware flashing, and bootloader recovery on customer-owned devices.
  • Restoration of factory accessibility for consumers who have legitimately purchased hardware and forgotten credentials.
  • Hardware refurbishing, diagnostics, and testing by certified refurbishers and electronics recyclers.
  • Enterprise device lifecycle decommissioning and authorized fleet maintenance.

02. Device Ownership & Lawful Repair Authorization

Users must ensure that for every mobile device connected to the The Power Flasher client software:

  • The user is the lawful legal owner of the device, or is a registered repair technician acting with express, documented written consent from the verified owner.
  • The device was not acquired through theft, burglary, robbery, fraudulent acquisition, unauthorized interception, or misappropriation.
  • The customer can provide proof of lawful purchase or workshop service intake intake forms upon regulatory request.

03. Absolute Prohibition on Stolen & Blacklisted Devices

Zero-Tolerance: Lost, Stolen & Blacklisted Hardware
It is strictly forbidden under any circumstances to connect, service, bypass, unlock, or flash any handset that has been reported lost or stolen, or that is listed on national or international telecom blacklists (including the GSMA Central Equipment Identity Register).

The Power Flasher reserves the right to cross-reference submitted device identifiers against international stolen device registries. Any matching transaction will be aborted, the account terminated, and records forwarded to law enforcement.

04. Prohibition on IMEI Manipulation & Telecom Fraud

Users are strictly prohibited from using The Power Flasher tools or APIs to:

  • Modify, alter, mask, rewrite, clone, or spoof International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers for fraudulent purposes, circumvention of telecom blacklists, or illicit network bypass.
  • Facilitate SIM-box fraud, toll-bypass operations, or telecommunications carrier bypass schemes.
  • Defeat carrier payment locks or mobile financing installment controls without authorized carrier release.

05. Software Integrity & Anti-Reverse Engineering Rules

The The Power Flasher client executable (`smtool.exe`), dynamic link libraries, and cryptographic communication protocols contain proprietary trade secrets, cryptographic routines, and copyrighted software intellectual property.

You expressly agree that you shall NOT, directly or indirectly:

  • Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, decrypt, unpack, or deobfuscate any portion of the software binaries.
  • Attach software debuggers (e.g. x64dbg, IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg) or process memory dumpers to running tool processes.
  • Extract, dump, hook, patch, or modify executable memory, dynamic routines, or API dispatch tables.
  • Extract cryptographic private keys, signature secrets, or authorization certificates embedded within the tool.

06. Network Security, Anti-Tampering & MITM Prohibitions

All communications between the desktop software and The Power Flasher servers are secured with end-to-end TLS encryption and cryptographic payload signing.

You agree NOT to:

  • Intercept, analyze, or tamper with network packets using HTTP proxies, packet sniffers, or man-in-the-middle (MITM) tools (e.g. Fiddler, Charles Proxy, Burp Suite, Wireshark, mitmproxy).
  • Install custom root certificates or hooks designed to bypass TLS pinning or signature verification.
  • Simulate, spoof, or replay server responses, credit confirmations, or OEM authentication tokens.
  • Point client software binaries toward unauthorized third-party emulated servers or local redirection proxies.

07. Account Sharing, Multi-Accounting & License Abuse

To maintain ecosystem integrity and prevent commercial piracy:

  • Individual licenses and account credentials are strictly personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or share your login credentials with unrelated third parties.
  • Creating multiple "clone" accounts to exploit introductory promotions, referral bonuses, or trial quotas is strictly prohibited.
  • Simultaneous multi-workstation sessions originating from geographically conflicting IP addresses will trigger automatic anti-sharing security locks.

08. Prohibited Infrastructure & Automated Attacks

You shall not engage in any activity that impairs, degrades, or disrupts our server infrastructure:

  • Launching Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, SYN floods, or volume stress tests against our domains or server nodes.
  • Executing automated vulnerability scanners, directory fuzzers, or automated credential-stuffing tools.
  • Scraping website pricing, documentation, or user lists through automated bots or headless browsers without authorization.

09. Zero-Tolerance Enforcement & DEFCON Hardware Banning

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy triggers immediate, automated protective countermeasures:

10. Cooperation with Law Enforcement & Judicial Authorities

The Power Flasher operates in full compliance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda and international criminal justice conventions:

Where clear evidence indicates that a user has engaged in computer misuse, cybercrime, trafficking in stolen handsets, or telecom fraud, we will proactively notify competent law enforcement bodies (including the Uganda Police Force Cyber Crime Unit and INTERPOL) and disclose all forensic audit records pursuant to lawful process.

11. Confidential Reporting of Violations & Vulnerabilities
